15 Aug. - 15 Dec. 2025, call-ups in accordance with the Conscription Act will be organized by the Defence Forces regional offices. This year, male citizens born in 2007 will be summoned to call-ups.

In the course of the autumn, a total of almost 38 000 young men liable for call-ups will take part in their call-up.  This year, male citizens born in 2007 will be summoned. Persons from a previous year’s call-up ordered to be re-examined, and those who failed to attend their call-up without a legal justification, are also obligated to participate in a call-up.

At these events organized by the regional offices, the call-up candidates’ fitness for service will be determined based on which a decision regarding their service will be made.  All call-up candidates will be invited to express their wishes to the Call-up Board regarding their military service.  The training gained by you in your civilian life and the things you are interested in are things that you could try to include and capitalize on in your military service, if possible.  So, before your call-up, you should, in fact, take a look at various service titles and think about your preferences for your military service. At the call-up, the participants will be informed on what date and at which service location they are expected to start their military service.  However, the duration of your service time and your service task will not be decided until you are already in service, towards the end of the branch training phase.

Call-ups will be organized at 238 different localities this autumn.  You will find the time and place of your call-up in the call-up notices posted on the Intti.fi website. If you know in advance that you will not be able to attend your call-up on a specific date or if you get sick before it, contact your regional office and agree with them on what you should do to meet your call-up obligation.

MyMilitary provides you with support for getting ready for your call-up

You can get ready for your call-up using the Defence Forces’ online MyMilitary service.  In MyMilitary, all future conscripts can see their personal time line and find the contents and services relevant to them.  Using MyMilitary, for example, you can apply for the special forces or any other task included on a list of specific tasks you must apply for before your military service.  You can log in using your online bank user identifiers or mobile ID.

At the call-ups, Outreach Youth Work will be there to meet young people

Call-ups play a socially important role, since they represent the last time all of the  male age group is reached in its entirety.  At call-up events, everybody is provided with a chance to talk about their concerns confidentially with Outreach youth workers.  A young person can also meet up with an Outreach worker at a later date to discuss these concerns, if he so wishes. Outreach workers help young people get ready for military service and in other matters important to them, too.  Read more: Time Out! - Into – Association for Outreach Youth Work and Workshop Activities
